“International Journal of Music Therapy (IJMT)” is a peer-reviewed journal started in 2011. IJMT started with the permission of the Director, Higher Education (No- Degree Seva/6789/2009-10 dated 18-11-2009). In 2010 the title of IJMT registered with RNI (Title Code: UPBIL03955 /24/1/2010-TC Verification Date : 22/7/2010) and the journal got the ISSN number (2249-8664) 1-12-2011. The first issue of the Journal was published at the end of 2011.

The IJMT serves as a distinguished platform dedicated to the exploration, dissemination, and advancement of knowledge in the field of music therapy.
