IAMT’s purpose is the progressive development of the therapeutic use of music in Neuro-endocrine, Cardiovascular disorder, psychological disorder, child development, rehabilitation, Growth & development of child, to treat the case of drug abuse, pain, special education, community settings, Frequent Headache, Depression, Sleeplessness, Anxiety etc. .
IAMT Promote research and Opening a new field of Biomusicology where biology and music works together for the welfare of mankind.
IAMT is committed to the advancement of education, training, professional standards, credentials, and research in support of the music therapy profession.
Governing Bodies
IAMT is governed by a Board of Directors & Executive Body which consists of both elected and nominated members. Board meetings are held once in a year & any time whenever need with a notice of 15 day. Policies are set by an Assembly of Delegates consisting of permanent and invited representatives from important section of society and other related Association’s.
